yet another entertaining evening out at Hurleys! with two successes, you'd think i'd be smart and try to do it more often, right? gods, i haven't laughed that hard in a long time. the fishporn'll keep me laughing for a few more days, at least... *evil grin at Fearsclave* think you'll ever live it down? -- nah. we won't let you... *mwah ha ha*

then proceeded to go home and spend some time with SG, just lounging about and watching bad tv. was still a nice evening though. am now insanely tempted to create new characters for RPG games i never have time to play... i'm fairly certain i've still got that D&D character generator on my comp, though it is fairly limiting so far as options go. *oozes envy at Mage players* admittedly, i've never played Mage, and only dabbled at D&D for a few tries before we convinced our GM he sucked and we all quit (two hours of jumping from floating rock to floating rock and tumbling to your death wears a l'il thin).

dunno what i'm up to today... must do groceries, then will prob'ly head over to the Princeling's. feel like spending money, but of course, i'm flat broke...

Grumble...

It was too much to hope that that little freudian slip on the part of *everyone else at the table* would have been forgotten in the alcoholic haze. I said mouldy old *corn*, ratzenfrikkinmuttergrumble. And just because you guys heard it wrong, *I* get sniggered at.

It's all so unfair :).

So I get mocked because you guys are all pervs?

Hardly fair, that :).

Why not?

Maybe no one wants to play with me *sob* *sob*, but I do have all the Mage paraphenalia, as well as vamp. Someone bought them for me... now, who was that, again? btw in certain ways I prefer Mage to D&D. It's much less complicated to say the least.
If you want to play a game, we could always set something up between Raven and *gasp* Sage. WARNING: if you want Sage to GM, be prepared to lose a lot of characters real fast. That man is one dark ride.

That's where you can dl character sheets for all of their gamind systems. Sorry, las, you'll have to print them out to use them. Personally, I think I see you as a Dreamspeaker/Verbena type. Raven's a dead set Hollower, though. Was that a compliment, or an insult?

Mage rocks. It's the only RPG I can even bring myself to have anything to do with anymore... And personally, I see Cymry as working for the $yndicate. Remember, the Technocracy are the *good* guys in this game...

Sundicate? Nah, she'd go progen.

I see more of an NWO or Progenitor in Cymry, if she were a technocrat (though, she's not. She'd get bored of the red tape and shoot someone).
"Go forth, my army of genetically engineered flying monkeys. Go forth and feed upon my enemies. And if you happen to find any ruby slippers, be sure to bring those back. I have the perfect coat to go with that..."

this is all going right over my head, so i'm not sure whether to be insulted or amused. i'm settling for a l'il of both.
though Phthisic is right, i REALLY don't do well with red tape... it tends to end up wrapped around my neck, which i respond to by violently killing anything that comes my way...

my problem with Mage (or D&D, for that matter) is that i only have the vaguest of ideas what i'm doing, and therefore end up sounding like an idiot, always asking: "what do i do now?" "roll which dice?" and "what do you mean, i'm dead?"

gah. i would be interested in starting up a game, once school's started and i've figured out exactly how much free time i really do have. as it stands, i'll prob'ly have tuesday nites, friday mornings, and sunday mornings free (sat is reserved for SG, of course)

If we play, I wanna be a Tory.

I have fallen in love with clan Toreador. And they'd work well with a Mage game. If you want to understand how to play, I'll gladly lend you the book. Mage is a bit more open than Vamp, so there's a few parts that are tough, but that's what you get when fuck with reality. If you have problems with dice, however, just do what the larps do; instead of dice, settle all rolls with rock/paper/scissors.

might take you up on the offer of book-lending sometime in the next few weeks. also wouldn't mind sitting down with you to get an in-depth explanation after i've determined that the books are very complicated and i understood nothing of what i have (or will have) read.
