so, i went walking at 3 am last night in the howling wind and spattering rain. i really needed to do that. i think i may (temporarily, finally, hopefully) have some things sorted out. it's been a while since i've actually felt confident that maybe, just maybe, i could get through the rest of my life without either going on a homicidal rampage or going through with that suicide pact i've got going with the employees at work (in which we all throw ourselves off the roof -- yes, we've upgraded from the second floor balcony -- at precisely 10 mins before the store closes).

*grins smugly* of course, this will all collapse around my ears in a day or two as i realize there are fifty (minimum) inherent flaws in my cunning and subtle plan, but that's alright. i'm going to enjoy these days of relative certainty and security while they last.
