this way and that.
Nov. 27th, 2006 12:16 amas we signed the contract with the photographer today, it occured to me that the wedding is exactly 6 months away.

NOW i'm starting to feel it.
on the other hand, SG and i managed to spend a nice day in town. the pre-xmas crowds were at a bearable level, so we did a bit of xmas shopping (his list is just about all done or planned out - thanks mostly to me giving him all my gift ideas for people, and being a good sport as he usurped most of them). a quick snack, then it was off to a late matinee showing of The Fountain, which was quite the gorgeous movie, if slow paced at times... and DEFINATELY not the sci-fi they're billing it as. anyone who calls it sci-fi is missing the point entirely.
off we went in search of supper. we walked, and walked, and walked. and discovered an amazing array of asian-type restaurants, but very little else. so we eventually decided to take an old man's advice (he beckoned us to come in when we were looking at the menu outside of yet another Asian-type place), and chose to eat at the China Grill, a very nice little asian place with a wonderfully helpful waiter and tasty food. it was the perfect atmosphere we were looking for.
only a few more things to do for school, then i can cross off that hurdle and move on to the next: namely, xmas shopping and wedding prep. so much to do!
