i can't help feeling like everything is under control. whether that's a side-effect of the vicious, evil, insidious cold that's taking over my system or whether i'm just trying to talk my brain into letting me watch BSG instead of working, i'm not sure, but i'm fairly certain it's a false sense of security. just cause i happen to have gone through no less than 3 books this weekend, and written/sent out a copy of my ethics proposals to the teacher, and will shortly have finished this week's required readings does NOT mean i'm ahead of schedule. if anything, it means my next few weeks may not be the mind-numbing endless toiling that i've been subjecting myself to for the past little while.

... i'm not looking shiftily at the BSG episodes on my hard drive. i swear.
