dead dog lands on Chance...
Jan. 2nd, 2003 09:05 pmi love New Year's. managed our usual 2-day bash with lots of alcohol, Psycho Beach Party, way too much food, a little Monty Python, and some Monopoly to round out the day. Oooh, and let's not forget the Twister... (ford will scan pics, yes? some will have to be posted -- they're too good to miss!)
am a little worse for wear, but still debating whether i have enuf energy to go out clubbing tonite. as Sim Theme Park is still not working on my comp, i may just be bored enuf to go.
am still maneuvering around the *&%$#@& Concordia website to find out what i need to know in order to drag myself to class on Tuesday. have finally managed to figure out where my classes are... so, Ford, have you registered for anything yet? (*nudge nudge wink wink say no more!) -- in case anyone can't tell, i'm just a little sleep-deprived...
i gave back the car today, in exchange for a $500 cheque from dad (to be paid back in full as soon as my Scholarship cheque arrives -- and gods only know when that'll be). i can't quite manage to pay for the root canal and tuition within 5 days of each other (nearly $2000 in all) and much as it rankles to have to borrow money from my father (which i always swore i'd never do), he's cheaper than the bank. *sighs dejectedly*. this somehow ruins my illusions about being able to make it on my own (or at least, with only SG to fall back on). it's depressing. i should have a decent job by now, my own car, etc, etc. instead, i'm stuck in this dead-end job that pays only slightly above minimum wage living off my boyfriend's salary and attempting to make ends meet enuf to pay for tuition (which, for the record, i have managed so far). only 1 year left to go, then i get to drive myself into the ground in a fun-filled, ever-stimulating data entry job...
