it's one of those rare, rare things these days - a series that actually follows from episode to episode. it makes for good television... but sucks when you haven't seen the whole thing from the beginning.

I should have known BSG... One of the few shows I used to watch when we had TV. (We got rid of cable since we're barely home, and we knew we'd be buying the DVDs anyway - extra $ every month doesn't hurt).

Have you watched any of the new(ish) Doctor Who or Torchwood?

i've never seen Doctor Who (i know, i know, it's been on my list of things to see for years) and never even heard of Torchwood - is it any good?

The old stuff used to scare me as a kid when my brother would watch the show. The new stuff is really fun if you're into Wacky British SciFi [which, I think you are ;) ]. Torchwood is a spinoff of the new Doctor Who. Imagine if The X-Files took place in Wales, and gloss it up a bit.

Eventually (read: when we finally finish unpacking everything), we will hold a geek-fest movie marathon, to which you and Matt are welcome to join.
